Corporate Social Responsibility

Last updated 12th April 2024

At Eventflow Technologies Ltd, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, integrity, transparency, and accountability in all our operations. We believe we have a moral responsibility to consider the impact of our business activities on local, national, and global communities, economies, and the environment. Our aim is to minimise any negative effects of our operations and make a positive contribution wherever reasonably possible.

Business Partners

We are dedicated to competing robustly yet fairly in the marketplace, offering value for money, high-quality customer service, and prompt payment to suppliers. We do not offer or accept inducements and are committed to ethical business practices in all our dealings.

Awarding of Contracts

Contracts are awarded based on value for money, quality, and the ability to deliver the required product or service. We also consider the business ethics and corporate values of potential partners. All contracts are handled through our standard procurement process and must be authorised in writing by a Director.

Gifts and Hospitality

We adhere strictly to our Anti-Bribery Policy, in line with the UK Bribery Act 2010, which came into force on 1 July 2011.

Employees

As an employer, we are committed to acting fairly and responsibly in all matters related to our employees. We foster an environment that is supportive, open, and honest, treating all individuals with dignity and respect.

We strive to eliminate prejudice, discrimination, and victimisation, and to provide a safe, healthy working environment. We offer opportunities for personal growth and professional development, supporting our employees in achieving fulfilment in their work.

Our recruitment processes are fair, equitable, and non-discriminatory, with appointments made solely based on merit and the ability to perform required duties.

Environment

At Eventflow Technologies Ltd, we take environmental issues and sustainability seriously. We are committed to ensuring compliance with UK environmental laws and staying informed of legislative changes. Our current actions include:

  • Our offices are fully insulated to reduce energy consumption.
  • We recycle waste wherever possible, including food waste, paper, plastics, cans, and cardboard.
  • We donate old electrical equipment and furniture to local charities.
  • We prioritise purchasing products from sustainable sources.
  • Environmental considerations are factored into office purchasing and working practices.
  • We strive to maintain a paperless office and discourage unnecessary hard copies.
Low-energy LED lighting, rechargeable batteries, and other energy-saving devices are used wherever possible.
  • Employees are encouraged to turn off lights when leaving the office.
  • We deliver most of our services remotely to reduce unnecessary travel.

Charity and Community Engagement

We actively encourage staff involvement in local charitable activities. Our Co-Founder and CEO, Christian Skelton, serves as Chair of Trustees for the Selsey Pavilion Trust, a charity restoring a historic 1913 Art Deco theatre and cinema in Selsey, West Sussex, United Kingdom. We believe that through these efforts, we can contribute positively to the community and foster meaningful change.
